ABOUT THE BAND

The "Here's Elton" Tribute Show is available for private and public events.

Your guests will enjoy a 90 minute tribute to the music of Elton John. Performing all of Elton's biggest hits. Russ Davis as "Elton" recreates the sights and sounds of Elton himself with over 40 years of experience. The Here's Elton Band consists of highly talented musicians dedicated to entertaining audiences everywhere.

Russ Davis as Elton

After hearing Bennie & the Jets at an early age, Russ formed his first band and has been performing ever since. Prior to forming the Here’s Elton Tribute Show, Russ performed with City Sounds, The Chimetones and Soul Groove.  Russ has been entertaining music

fans all over the Tri State area for over 40  years.

Thom Tosi-Drums

 

Thom graduated from Berklee College of Music. He has played in bands from Jazz to Metal for 40+ years.  Thom’s influences include Neil Peart, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Smith, Buddy Rich & Art Blakey, just to name a few.  Thom plays DW Collectors Series Drums with May internal Drum miking system, DW Hardware and Zildjian cymbals and the Roland VAD706 V-Drum Acoustic kit with the TD-50X sound module.

Rich Sacher-Guitar

aka "Rich E Rich"  has 38 years of experience playing  across the U.S.  with "The Spyder Murphy Band" and "Soul Groove Band".  Heavily influenced by   Davey Johnstone from the Elton John Band. After hearing Elton John's "infectious rocker" song "Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting" he was determined to one day become a musician. Favorite quote: "We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing"

Brian Stewart-Bass

Brian has had a life long love of music. He’s been playing bass since high school and has played in the same classic rock band for 30 years. He’s had some interesting interactions with famous musicians including opening for Badfinger and John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band as well as personally handing his bands demo to Pete Townshend. Brian enjoys playing his Fender jazz bass or Music Man stingray bass through Ampeg amplifiers. 

Pete Miele-Keyboards

 

Pete had been playing synthesizers and pianos for over 35 years. He has been in various bands ranging from the 80’s to 2000’s. A long time fan of Elton John’s music and has been to many of his concerts in places like Madison Square Garden, Prudential Center, and Nassau Coliseum. He currently owns many synthesizers used on  Elton John’s recordings including an ARP, Roland Jupiter 8, and Yamaha GS-1.

Nancy Salters-Vocals

 

Nancy Salters (born Muriel V. Manigo) began singing as a little girl in church & school. Nancy attended a gifted/talented school where she majored in Performing Arts. She never pursued any formal professional training, but considers her voice a gift from God to minister to the world.  Nancy has always remains humble; allowing her gift to be her guide, & allows her to minister to both Christian and secular audiences.

 Here's ELTON welcomes her as the newest member to the band as featured vocalist.
